Location
The Kankakee
River Metropolitan Agency or KRMA is located in the city
of Kankakee, on the Kankakee River. The easiest way to
visit KRMA is to go west on West Brookmont Blvd from
Kennedy Drive. The plant is open to the public from 7:00
AM until 4:00 PM.

Communities
KRMA is responsible for treating
wastewater from the four member municipalities of
Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais and Aroma Park.
Wastewater treatment is also provided to the Village of
Manteno and the Village of Chebanse by intergovernmental
agreement.
